SPCA Dog Walk and Market at Expérience d’ Arauna

Help us raise much-needed funds for SPCA Wellington and join us to walk your dog on Saturday 29th January around the farmlands in the beautiful Bovlei Valley outside Wellington.
Join us from 8am to register for either the 2.4 km or the 4 km circular farm walk with your dog and we’ll reward you on your return with a freshly prepared breakfast roll and coffee! We’ll all depart together at 09:00am, but late-comers are welcome to catch up. Marshals will be stationed along the route to make sure no one gets lost. We won’t be walking on any public gravel roads but will stick to the more scenic farm trails and footpaths.
All participating dogs should wear a collar and be kept on a leash for the full duration of the walk.
Upon your return, we hope you’ll stick around for a while to socialise under the oak trees and enjoy the numerous stalls at Arauna Farm Market. There will be ample parking, ice-cold beer, wine tasting, food and plenty of other items available as well as the draw to win half a lamb.
Ticket prices for the Dog Walk, which include your breakfast roll and coffee, cost R50 per person, with proceeds going directly to SPCA Wellington. Walkers without dogs are most welcome to join and the entry fee remains the same.
